PLEASE NOTE CHALLENGER SCHOOL DRESS CODE POLICY CORRECTIONS:

1.  CHARCOAL is the required color of the Pants and Shorts for the preschool uniform.  See R.3 dress code.

2.  Girls in K-4th grades are required to wear the JUMPERS on full dress days.  This is the same as in last year's dress code.  They may choose to wear their jumpers or their optional items on Thursday and Friday.  See R.3 dress code.

3.  Girls K-4th Optional Days.  Only the Kindergarten girls may wear their preschool skirts on Optional Dress days (Thursday and Friday).  This exception for Kindergarten girls, allows a kindergarten girl who may have a Preschool skirt to wear their skirt on Thursday and Friday if it still fits.

4.  Skirts and Culottes are NOT allowed in 1st-4th grade at Challenger on any of the days. This is the same as last year.

5.  Clarification about wearing full dress items on optional days.... Students in 1st - 8th grade may wear items from their current grades full dress code on Optional Dress Days or from their earlier elementary grades (1st - 4th grade). This is the same as last year.  They may not wear items from older grades full dress code choices.

Preschool skirts and preschool specific items or 5-8th grade specific items such as the Charcoal pants and shorts or the gray pants, skirts & culottes are not allowed for 1st - 4th grade students.

Preschool students, on their free dress days, (Wednesday, Thursday and Friday) may wear any of the Challenger uniform items such as the oxford shirt, the jumper, a tie, or the preschool athletic suit.  The required full dress items for preschool boys are: a polo shirt with the Challenger Crest and Charcoal pants or Shorts for the boys and for the preschool girls a polo shirt with the Challenger Crest and the skirt or the Charcoal shorts. Preschoolers may wear their full dress items all week long if they would like.   Hand-me-down items from older siblings such as navy shorts or navy pants, jumpers or jackets may be worn on preschool free/optional dress days Wednesday, Thursday and Friday.

Preschool full dress is NOT the same as the full dress or special function dress for elementary students.  Full dress for preschool students (with the polo shirt) is expected to be worn on school program days and on picture days.
